Tim Boyer Obituary, Death – It is with the deepest sorrow that I must notify you that The Boars Nest will regretfully be closed to the public beginning at three o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, June 9th, and will remain closed for the remainder of the evening. The life of Mr. Tim Boyer, one of our most devoted customers, will be commemorated with a celebration of his life. I want to express my gratitude in advance for your comprehension. During this trying time, it would be greatly appreciated if you would put Tim’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
He was born in Albion on November 1, 1946, the son of Milton Boyer and Margaret (Tyler) Boyer, both of whom passed away, and he spent the entirety of his life in this region. In 1964, John received his diploma from Albion High School. After 30 years of service, he took early retirement from General Motors in Rochester in 1999 and went on to pursue his career as a tool maker. John was a generous and compassionate person who enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities. It was one of his favorite things to do to go on drives and look for deer. He took pleasure in spending time in his garage tinkering with various objects and repairing them.
The time he got to spend with his loved ones brought him the most happiness. As his grandchildren grew older, he cherished spending time with them and attending their various school and athletic activities. He is held in high esteem and his absence is keenly felt. In addition to John’s parents, Kenny, John’s brother, and Roy Allen, John’s brother-in-law, have all passed away before him. Rosemary (Kaminski) Boyer, John’s wife of 51 years, survives him in Albion. Also surviving are John’s brother, Milton (Dorothy) Boyer of Albion, sister, June (Boyer)
Allen of Albion, and brother-in-law Richard (Sylvia) Kaminski of Kansas. John was predeceased by his parents. His children Lisa Ettinger (Darrin) of Albion and John Boyer (Zoe) of Lockport, as well as his grandsons Nicholas and Jacob Ettinger, as well as Quinn, Reilly, and Zara Boyer. Numerous relatives, nieces, and nephews on both sides of the family. His funeral will be held at the Mount Albion Cemetery.
