Steve Phillips Obituary, Steve Phillips Reportedly Passed Away

Steve Phillips Obituary, Death – It was an honor for us to be able to contribute to this memorial movie for our good friend Steve Phillips, who was a member of The Elders and passed away a few weeks ago. Rose Baldino was responsible for the video editing, Bruce McCarthy was in charge of the audio mixing, and members of EIGHT different bands were featured on the recording. You can download the music for free at this location: https://theelders.com/. (the link to download is located farther down on this page)

If you are moved to make a donation, Steve’s wife Becky has established a memorial fundraising page in his honor on the website of the Kansas City Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis, which can be found at: https://www.kcpulmonaryfibrosis.org/tributes
On this production, it was a real treat to collaborate with members of Enter the Haggis, The High Kings, House of Hamill, Searson, We Banjo 3, and the Young Dubliners. Please share this movie with as many people as possible, and if you’re able, consider making a donation to the Kids Cancer Financial Protection Fund (KCFPF) in Steve’s honor.

I pray that God will bless Steve Phillips since he was such a wonderful person and such an important contributor to the success of The Elders. Along with The Elders, who have been performing with us since 2004, Steve was a part of many of the shows that we did. They usually say that it’s the really excellent ones that are taken too early from us, but we are convinced that Steve is gazing down from Heaven thinking his favorite saying, “Well Alright Then”
