Ruth Anne Obituary, Ruth Anne Has Sadly Passed Away

Ruth Anne Obituary, Death – I have some distressing news regarding my cousin Ruth Anne Tchouban Huston. On Thursday morning in Arizona, Ruth Anne was involved in an automobile accident. She underwent surgery and was flown to Tucson, but due to complications, she underwent another procedure on Friday. She was taken off life support due to her injuries, at which point she passed away. She is survived by her husband Bill Huston, their three sons, their daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter. also George, her younger brother. That is the information I have so far learned. One block away from me was Ruth Anne’s family, her grandparents were right next door, and Barry and Becky Wegner were on the opposite side. We were the 9th Street Gang, and we spent our days riding our bikes to the park, playing baseball, Ranch, and fighting.

For our swimming classes and for enjoyment, we use the outdoor Moorhead pool! In the winter, we ice skated on the flooded baseball field. I attended Fairview Nursing School with Ruth Anne, Mary Meyers, and Mary Jane Solien Olson; I later transferred out, but those three went on to become wonderful nurses. Countless memories! Please share with others who know her, Moorhead people! The photo below shows Mary Myers, Mary Jane Solien Olson, Ruth Anne Tchouban Huston, and I during a gathering last fall. We were all at Fairview Nursing School together. She worked day and night, seven days a week, with owners, finders, and neighborhood shelters to reconnect missing pets with their owners using social media pages, email, and personal phoning.

Nobody had more information on lost pets in our neighborhood and elsewhere, including who was looking for them. Numerous success stories were directly attributed to her dedication to the cause, and I am confident that she is still “on the job” wherever she is at present. Vicki was the kind of person that made everyone around her smile, was constantly helpful, and so she naturally provided calm reassurance in trying circumstances. Vicki will always be remembered as a shining example who helped so many animals and residents of our neighborhood. All of us will sincerely miss her. It’s a terribly sad day today. Vicki asked that no services be scheduled, therefore there won’t be any.
