Ronald McGan Obituary, Death – At the Veterans Administration Hospital on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, Ronald David McGan passed away. Ronnie was a patriotic Marine who spent his childhood in Kansas City, Missouri with his large and boisterous family. Ronnie served in the Marine Corps. Ronnie McGan was the sixth of nine children, and he followed in the footsteps of his parents, Richard and Patricia McGan, as well as his siblings Sandra McGan Sloan, Donnie Joe McGan, Michael Richard McGan, and Patrick Thomas McGan, who all passed away before him.
Ronnie McGan passed away in a quiet manner. David McGan and Danielle McGan McIlvane, the children he had with his ex-wife Denise McGan, are the only members of his family who have survived his passing. He is the grandfather of Connor, Sarah, Izzy, and Aurora, his four grandkids. Gail McGan Oaks, Diana McGan Sproul (Steve), Phillip McGan, and Jeffrey McGan (Linda) are her surviving siblings. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Michael Sloan and a large number of nieces and nephews.
At the printing company Deluxe Printing, where Ronnie worked as an electrician and lithographer, retirement was right around the corner for him. Ronnie’s favorite things to do with his pals were to shoot pool and play cards. He loved living in the city, but he also had a special place on Truman Lake, where he spent a lot of time with Wanda Woodward Decker, his life partner of many years, and his extended lake family. He spent a lot of time fishing there, and he wanted to retire there.
At the Cullen Funeral Home located at 612 W Foxwood Dr in Raymore, Missouri 64083, services will be held on Friday, June 23, beginning at 2:00 p.m. for visitation, followed by the services at 3:00 p.m. Send contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Veterans Administration in place of flowers.
