Rodney Salm Obituary, Death – We are sorry to inform you that Mr. Rodney Salm has died away; it is with heavy hearts that we share this news with you. Rodney was a victim of a catastrophic car accident that took place on June 4 and tragically passed away as a result. Rodney was a member of the FanX family who played a significant and essential role. Rodney has been volunteering at Fan Expo ever since it began in 2014, and throughout that time, he has made important contributions to the preparation and implementation of the Grand Ballroom celebrity panels.
Rodney managed the backstage operations for the Grand Ballroom throughout his time there. In this capacity, he was in charge of greeting each celebrity and getting them prepared to take part in the individual panels that they were scheduled to attend. It was not an easy task for Rodney to make sure that the celebs showed up on time for their separate panels, but he managed to pull it off. When FanX was going on, you could always find Rodney backstage with a number of radios and phones to keep track of the anticipated arrival times of each FanX visitor.
Rodney was the kind of person who would go out of his way to assist those who were struggling and support them in any way he could. During the course of our stay there, Rodney proved to be one of the kindest and most understanding individuals with whom we had the opportunity to collaborate. Rodney was well known to those of us who had the opportunity to work closely with him because he was known as the person who was always smiling and who greeted everyone with open arms.
Those of us who had this opportunity knew him as the guy who was always smiling and who welcomed everyone with open arms. If you knew Rodney, it was impossible not to fall in love with him. Rodney, you will be remembered fondly by a huge number of people, and your smile had the ability to make even the darkest of days seem a little bit brighter.
