Richard Cash Death, Obituary – The death of Richard J. Cash Sr., age 77, took place on May 16, 2016, at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned. His parents, Herman Woodrow Cash and Jacksie Mildred Poole Cash, gave birth to him on March 11, 1939 in Siler City, North Carolina. He was their son. A resident of Larned at the moment, having moved there from Stafford in November after having lived there for the previous three decades.
He was a resident of Larned and a member of The Father’s House. He had a passion for restoring antiques and vintage automobiles. His marriage to Betty “Gale” Coonce took place in Greeleyville, South Carolina, on June 2, 1962. She will live on. Other people who are still alive include a daughter, Tammi Lynette Locke, who lives in Larned; two sons, Richard David Cash and Richard Jeffery Cash Jr., both of Joplin, Missouri; two brothers, Herman W. Cash and Walter Thomas Cash, both of Branson, Missouri; a sister, Betty Sue Cooper, who lives in Andrews, South Carolina; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Kathy Smith, his sister, passed away before him. She was his immediate predecessor. On Wednesday at 1:30 pm, a memorial ceremony will be held at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, and Pastor Michael Pfortmiller will preside over the event. The register will be available for friends to sign on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the mortuary. The cremation process has been completed.
