Ralph Orland Blacklock Death, Obituary – Ralph Orland Blacklock, age 84, passed away in the Sackville Memorial Hospital on the evening of Tuesday, June 6, 2023. He lived in the town of Timber River in the province of New Brunswick. We are passing on the news of his passing with the utmost sadness that we feel. Ralph Blacklock was the son of Orville and Thelma (Trenholm) Blacklock, who both passed away before him. Little Shemogue, which is located in New Brunswick, is the place of his birth.
Throughout the course of his career, Ralph worked for a variety of companies, including Dexter Construction and Universal Sales, where he was employed in various capacities including those of a mechanic and operator. Both dabbling in agriculture as a hobby and lending a hand at the Community Pasture were activities that Ralph looked forward to performing. During his younger years, he was well-known for spending a significant amount of time outdoors engaging in activities such as hunting and going to local dances.
His children, Larry (Gaby), Edmonton, Alberta; Kencil (Lori-Anne), Amherst; Kevin (Jennifer), Upper Cape; Hazen (Sandy), Tidnish Head, Nova Scotia; Karen (Eike) Futter, Shemogue; Tanya (Richard) Stright, Murray Corner; Ashley (Jennifer), Rockport; Stacey (Carl) Dowe, St. Stephen, New Brunswick; and Timothy (Alicia Ralph’s first wife Christine Kenny, his second wife June Bacon, and his girlfriend of 15 years, Barbara Ann Sullivan, all passed away before him.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was also predeceased by his first and second wives. In addition, Ralph’s son Michael, two of his siblings, Leonard and Kencil, and two of his grandchildren, Christine and Justin, all predeceased him before to his own passing. Jones Funeral Homes in Port Elgin and Sackville, New Brunswick, have been entrusted with the responsibility of providing care and supervision over the arrangements.
On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, the general public is invited to attend a visitation at the funeral home situated at 3 West Main Street in Port Elgin between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 pm and again that evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The memorial service is scheduled to take place at 2:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Following the conclusion of the funeral service, the burial will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery.
