Paulette F. Williams Obituary, Death – On June 10, 2023, Paulette F. Williams peacefully transitioned from this life in Virginia Beach. Her age was 75. Elizabeth City, North Carolina is where Paulette began her life. She had a wonderful upbringing in Aydlett, North Carolina. Paulette was a fantastic cook, and she worked in the restaurant that her family owned in Sligo, North Carolina. After some time had passed, she was able to secure a position working for the Currituck County Public Schools as a cook in the cafeteria of the Currituck County High School. In more recent times, Paulette has delighted in serving the patrons of a number of local establishments, such as Food Lion, the Sanderling Resort, Pine Island, and 7-Eleven. Mrs. Williams was very involved in the Girl Scouts and her local church in her spare time, in addition to her full-time job.

Paulette Williams is survived by her husband of nearly eight years, Dalton Williams, Jr., of the Poplar Branch home; her two daughters, Earleen Guard Williams and Annette Guard Williams; her four grandchildren, Krystal Hamilton, Tracie Williams, Misty Alonso, and Margie Williams; her four great-grandchildren (plus one on the way); her brother Donald Freeman; and a host of other relatives and friends. Paulette Williams passed away on April 15, 2019.

The funeral will take place at the Powells Point Christian Church at twelve o’clock noon on Friday, June 16, 2023. The viewing will begin two hours in advance at 10 in the morning. The ceremony will be presided over by Pastor Vincent Rodkey. The funeral and burial will be held in privacy. The family would be extremely appreciative if any memorial contributions made in Paulette’s name were made to the Powells Point Christian Church.
