Paul Carr Obituary, Death – The passing of Mr. Paul Carr, a longtime member of the Langland Bay Lifeguard Club and a pillar of the organization, is something that the club reports with a heavy heart. Mr. Carr was one of the group’s founding members. Paul was not only a strong competitor but also an active member of our instructional staff. He was an expert in swimming techniques and delivered his teaching with a cheerful demeanor at all times, despite the fact that he did it with an unrelenting level of dedication.
Paul will be greatly missed by everyone in the Lifesaving family, including not just his former and current club members but also the rest of the family. Our sincerest condolences are sent to his wife, Liz, as well as the rest of his family and friends at this difficult time.

Even though we were the oldest athletes competing, we always managed to have a good chuckle about the fact that we were the oldest when we ran into each other at other competitions. There were a few of the competitions in which it was just the two of us. Never anyone else than a true gentleman.
