Patricia Logan Obituary, Death – Sister Patricia Ann Logan, CSJ, also known as “Sister Norma,” passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. She was a much-loved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston and was in her 79th year. Devoted daughter of the late Edward H. and Margaret E. (Leary) Logan, and cherished sister of the late Edward H. Logan, Rita M. Quirk, Leo F. Logan, and Mildred E. Greene. Daughter of the late Edward H. and Margaret E. (Leary) Logan.

Her nieces Peggy Quirk, Maureen Reilly, Patricia Naughton, Veronica Ferrara, Margaret Greene, and the late Mary Patricia Havener are among those who will carry on her legacy after she has passed away. Sister Patricia is also survived by her Sisters in the Congregation. In the past, they served as missionaries at Sacred Heart Convent in Newton Centre, St. John Parish in Swampscott, Bethany Hospital in Framingham, and CSJ Scholasticate in Framingham.

Sister Patricia worked in the cafeteria at Fontbonne Academy and was a receptionist and secretary at Aquinas Junior College in Milton for many years. She also worked at Fontbonne Academy. In addition to that, she worked as an administrator at Fontbonne Hall in Framingham, as well as the coordinator at the Sisters of St. Joseph Retreat Center in Cohasset, and as a receptionist at the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse in Brighton.

Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 9:15 am to 10:00 am, there will be open visiting hours at the Holy Family Chapel, which is located within the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse at 631 Cambridge Street in Brighton, Massachusetts. The Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation will begin at 10:15 a.m. at the Motherhouse, immediately following the Prayer Service which will begin at 10:00 a.m. The burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery, which can be found at 180 Pond Street in Natick, Massachusetts. Norton Funeral Home in Framingham is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Sisters of Saint Joseph at the Mission Advancement office, which is located at 637 Cambridge Street, Brighton, Massachusetts 02135.
