Patricia Langley Death, Obituary – On June 7, 2023, Patricia Langley, who had reached the age of 72 and had been a native of Yazoo City, Mississippi, passed away within the walls of her own house. She had been a resident of Yazoo City all of her life. Her parents, Elmer and Willie Mae Price Wilson, as addition to her daughter, Leah Carmen Langley, all passed away before she was born on August 4, 1950 in Carroll County. Her name at birth was Leah Carmen Wilson. Both her family and her close friends called her “Pat,” which was a term of endearment for her.
In addition to being a member of the First Baptist Church in Yazoo City, Pat worked as a teacher for a considerable amount of time and was also a homemaker. She had been involved with the church for a considerable amount of time. Pat, too, decided to leave the teaching profession and give up her work as a teacher. Pat is survived by her husband, Michael Langley; son, Michael (Claire) Langley of Brandon, Mississippi; grandson, Wilson Henry Langley; brother, Steve Adams (Margaret) of N. Carrollton, Mississippi; sister, Jan (T.J.) Nabors of N. Carrollton, Mississippi; and special family member, Willie Ann Howard of N. Carrollton, Mississippi.
Willie Ann Howard is also from N. Carrollton, Mississippi. Willie Ann Howard is another native of the Mississippi town of N. Carrollton. Willie Ann Howard is not only a treasured member of the family, but she is also one of Pat’s living relatives.The First Baptist Church in Yazoo City is going to be the location of the services that will be performed on the 10th of June, 2023. This location has been chosen for the fulfillment of this objective. The visitation will begin at 9:30 in the morning and will continue until 11:00 in the morning.
The funeral services will commence at 11:00 in the morning. Immediate subsequent to the conclusion of the funeral services, the body of the deceased will be laid to rest in the Evergreen Cemetery in Carrollton, Mississippi, at three o’clock in the afternoon. Kyle Adams, Ganes Bankston, Gary Bankston, Jr., J. Langley, Tim Beard, and John Phillip Damiens will act as pallbearers during the funeral service. In addition to that, John Phillip Damiens will perform the duties of an honorary pallbearer.
