Ms. Gayle Beck Death, Obituary – Please find below the arrangements that have been made for Ms. Gayle Beck. On June 8, 2023, Gayle Britt Lorton Beck passed away after living a full life as a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Gayle was born in Atlanta in 1949, and she graduated from Walker High School there. Her father Hunter V. Britt, her first husband John Mercer, and her second husband Jack Lorton all passed away before her.
She is survived by her mother Mary Lee Britt Lee 96, her brother, Jerry Britt 69, her husband Ray Beck 75, her sons, Justin Mercer 43, Jeff Mercer 63 (Denise), Brooks Mercer 64, Michael Mercer 45 (Andrea), her daughters Lisa Mercer Collier 59 (Billy), Lori Mercer Weir 57 (Chris), Jessica Lorton 45, and Cassie Martis 39.
Her grandchildren are Clairissa 26, Zoe 19, Jaxon 12, Elijah 10, Skylynn 6 and her great granddaughter Alaia, 11 months and 3 stepdaughters Teresa Bowers (John), Jennifer Mulkey (Scott), Patricia Fabisiak (Pete), as well as her beloved pups Nicky and Molly.
During the course of her working life, she held a variety of jobs, the most recent of which was at the Department of Labor in Georgia. Mrs. Beck’s memorial service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel in Snellville, Georgia. The date and location of the service are yet to be determined.
After the service, the burial will take place at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville, Georgia. On Sunday, June 11, 2023, the family will be present at the Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel in Snellville, Georgia from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM to greet visitors and pay their respects.
