Michael kellogg Death, Obituary – After the accident, which happened at 7 a.m. near 238th & Davey Road, 64-year-old Michael Kellogg was declared deceased at a hospital in the Omaha region. After hitting a deer and colliding with a motorbike on Sunday morning, an Ashland man died.
Deputies, paramedics and Ashland Police responded to a complaint of a motorbike crash involving a deer at 238th and Davey Road around 7 a.m., according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. First responders discovered Michael Kellogg, 64, at the scene of the collision. According to the CCSO, Kellogg was transferred to a hospital in the Omaha region and later declared deceased.
Following an investigation, the sheriff’s office reports that Kellogg was riding his motorbike south on 238th Street when a deer sprang out in front of him. Kellogg struck the buck and then lost control. Authorities claim that alcohol does not seem to have had a role in the collision.
