Michael Chambers Missing: On Friday, the police in Hunt County said that human remains discovered around the end of 2017 had been positively identified as belonging to a former Dallas firefighter who had been reported missing in 2017. The firefighter had been reported missing in 2017. Michael Chambers, who had reached the age of 70 at the time of his disappearance in March of 2017, has not been seen since, and there are questions over his disappearance. The local authorities claim that human skeletal remains, or what they suspect to be human skeletal remains, were found in Rains County in November of the previous year in a wooded area located off of United States Highway 276 and east of East Tawakoni.
\After the remains were recovered by the Texas Rangers, the sheriff’s departments of Rains County and Hunt County, and other law enforcement agencies, they were transferred to the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification in Fort Worth for examination. This was done so that they could determine who the bones belonged to. According to the comments that were released by the administration of Hunt County on Friday, the DNA findings were “recently obtained.” The procedure of identifying the remains has been taking some time, so the investigators have been waiting on the results of that process.
Terry Jones, the sheriff of Hunt County, made a request for continued prayers for the Chambers family in a statement that was released in writing. “I ask for the continued prayers for the Chambers family,” Jones said in his statement. I am aware that Mr. Chambers’ family has been searching for answers for a very long time, and it is my sincere hope that this may be able to provide them with some sense of resolution.
