Michael Cameron Obituary, Forks Township PA, Michael Cameron Has Passed Away

Michael Cameron Obituary, Death –  Michael “Mike” Andrew Cameron, who was 50 years old and from Forks Township, Pennsylvania, passed away at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, New York on December 30, 2022. Mike is left by his wife Jennifer Cameron, with whom he shared 24 years of marriage, as well as his two devoted children, Julia and Jack Cameron. He is the cherished son of Donald Cameron and Nancy Dorsey Cameron, and he was born on December 13 in Glens Falls, New York. In addition, he leaves behind his sister Aimee Browne, who is married to Christopher, his sister Julie Wright, who is married to Patrick, and his brother Gregory Cameron, who is married to Linda. Mike was a family man at heart, and he had a close relationship not just with his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Carol Thompson, but also with both of his sisters-in-law and their husbands, Stacey Snyder and Darren Colaluce, and Justin Colaluce.

He was cherished not just by his 11 nieces and nephews, but also by his 11 uncles, aunts, cousins, and the many close friends he had throughout the years. The things about him that his family would miss the most are his quick sense of humor, his straightforward advise, and his unconditional love and support. Mike is credited for establishing the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity chapter while he was a student at Niagara University, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce. In addition, he earned a Master of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Centenary College. After that, he obtained a position at Centenary as an adjunct professor. After finishing school, he found employment first at BASF and later at Minteq International Inc., where he held the position of North American Controller. Mike was devoted to his interest in sports and was an ardent supporter of both the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. He instilled in his offspring a lifelong passion for athletics.

Mike coached baseball for St. Jane’s and football for Notre Dame Little and Junior Crusaders. He was involved in both of these organizations for many years. On Friday, January 13, at 10:00 and 11:00 AM, there will be a calling hour at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church located at 4049 Hartley Avenue in Easton, Pennsylvania 18045. This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
