Lydia Fazio Death, Obituary – Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania – Holy Spirit Hospital on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, was the location of John R. Capriotti’s passing. He had lived in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, and was 71 years old when he died away. He was enveloped in the love and support of his loving family members. After 38 years of devoted service with the Pennsylvania State Police, where he had worked his way up to the rank of Major, John decided to retire from the agency.
John was happiest when he was out in nature, partaking in pursuits such as hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. One of his most cherished activities was traveling the world with the people he cared about the most. Mark R. Capriotti and wife Shannen of Butler, and Brian M. Capriotti and Kelly Kurtas of Dillsburg; and their two granddaughters, Jenna and Samantha Capriotti, all survived John. He was predeceased by Brian M. Capriotti. On Monday, September 12, 2016, at ten o’clock in the morning, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg, which can be found at 400 East Simpson Street.
On Sunday, visitation will take place at the Malpezzi Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In case you were wondering, the funeral home can be found in Mechanicsburg at 8 Market Plaza Way. The funeral and subsequent interment will take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
