Lee Martin Death, Obituary – Leland Martin, 61, of Wrightstown died on June 2, 2023. On Wednesday, June 7, from 3-7pm, family and friends are invited to St. Clare Parish- St. Paul Site in Wrightstown. The evening will finish with a church prayer service. Visitation will resume at the church on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. Fr. Brian Wideman will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. The funeral will be held at St. Paul Cemetery.
Our Heavenly Father has called him home, a loving spouse, compassionate father, and friend to all. As his health allowed, he attended Unity Baptist Church. He enjoyed listening to the Gospel and singing old gospel melodies at home. Mr. Martin served his country in Korea as a member of the United States Armed Forces during the Korean War.
Mr. Martin retired from Owens-Corning Firberglas, where he worked as a welder, following a crippling accident.He is survived by his devoted wife, Frankie Martin, and his three children, Spartanburg’s Connie White, Anderson’s Jimmy Martin, and Townville’s Diane Ange. Clarence Martin of Anderson, his brother, also survives. He adored his nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren as much as his own.
