Kim Lawton Death, Obituary – Honored Partners in Production, Custodial Correctional Officer (CCO) Kim Lawton, who worked at the Townsville Correctional Centre (TCC), lost her battle with illness after a significant amount of time, and it is with the utmost regret that I must inform you of her passing. It is with deep sadness that I must inform you of her passing.
Kim started her career with Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) in February of 2010, when she joined the organization in the capacity of a trainee. She eventually became a trade instructor at QCS after working her way up through the ranks there. When Kim finally left her job at the Townville Correctional Institution, it was in the month of December 2021. Before to that, she had worked there continuously up until that point.
It is the desire of Kim’s coworkers, friends, and family members, as well as members of the facility where she was employed, to convey their thanks to her and bring to light the esteem in which she was held there. I would like to take advantage of this occasion to thank Kim for her service and to recognize the accomplishments she has made to the judicial system. In addition, I would like to extend my condolences to her family, friends, and coworkers on her passing. To whom it may concern, Paul Stewart, the current Commissioner of the APM
