Kevin Holmberg Obituary, Death – A man in his thirties is accused of shooting and killing his pregnant wife, who was 41 years old, as well as their unborn child this past week, before turning the pistol on himself in front of the police and taking his own life. On May 31 at around 1 a.m., the Chandler Police Department responded to the 3900 block of West Monterey Street after receiving a call from a “uncooperative” and alcoholic individual who refused to offer an address. The person who made the call described themselves as being “uncooperative.”
According to the information provided by the caller, he had been present at the place for close to an hour. Additionally, relatives of the family phoned the authorities to report a “unknown incident” that took place at the apartment, and they identified the person as Kevin Holmberg. It was said that the event took place in the residence in the description. The officers conducted what they referred to as a “diligent search” of the area, but they were unable to find anyone who required immediate medical attention.
A short time later, the police were notified that the victim, Katherine Holmberg, was in immediate peril. Kevin Holmberg eventually emerged from the house armed about two o’clock in the morning after being surrounded by law enforcement officers who had encircled the residence earlier. The Chandler Police Department reports that Kevin Holmberg “fatally shot himself while still outside and in view of the officers.”
Following that, the authorities performed a search of the property and found Katherine Holmberg, who had been shot and was subsequently pronounced dead after they located her. The unborn child was snatched from her as a direct result of the shooting that took place earlier. The comments submitted to the police by those who investigated the scene indicate that there were no other persons present within the house.
