Justin Aquila Death, Obituary – Aquila age 92, of the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste in Bouctouche and formerly of Saint-Edouard de Kent, passed away on Saturday at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste he was a former resident of Saint-Edouard de Kent. He was wed to the late Cecilia (Nowlan) Maillet (2006), who passed away in 2006. On the 24th of January in 1918, he was born in Sainte-Anne de Kent. His parents, Sifroid Maillet and Délina (Gallant) Maillet, both passed away before he was born.
Prior to his retirement, Aquila worked as a commercial fisherman and was a founder member of the cooperative of fishermen. He also fished for a living. In addition to that, he was a participant in the Sainte-Anne de Kent Golden Age Club. His three sons, Jean-Guy (Lucianne) of Cap-Lumière, Charles of Campbellton, and Laurie (Murielle) of Boudreau Ouest, as well as his three grandsons, Jacques, Gilles, and Marcel, and his four great granddaughters, Monica, Venessa, Justin, and Sophia, will miss him very much.
In addition, he leaves behind his brother Arice (Irène), who resides in Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, as well as a number of nephews and nieces. One of his daughters, Marie-Paul, who was born in 1970, as well as three of his sisters, Ella, Anna, and Rita, passed away before him.
