The victim of a fatal car accident that took place on Ocean Parkway on June 8, 2023 and was identified as Josh Dweck, also known as Joshua Dweck, was given the name of Joshua Dweck. At the scene of the accident, it was determined that Josh Dweck had passed away. Josh was unable to recover from the injuries he sustained as a result of the unfortunate event and thus passed tragically as a result of his injuries.
On June 7, a high-speed collision involving a teenage driver of a Tesla resulted in the death of a pedestrian who was 76 years old and injured another person. The driver of the Tesla was a young adult. The New York Police Department said that police were made aware of allegations of a major car accident shortly after 9 o’clock that evening in the region of the Avenue M intersection. The incident was reported to have occurred in that area.
Officers and emergency personnel arrived at the site and found a male pedestrian lying on the ground with significant head and torso injuries. The guy was unconscious. When they located the victim, he was unconscious and lying on the ground. The patient, identified as Rajacic Milorad, was a resident of Old Westbury, and emergency personnel took him to Maimonides Medical Center. Unfortunately, the injuries he sustained were too severe for him to recover from, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The results of a follow-up investigation that was carried out by the Highway District’s Collision Inspection Squad of the New York Police Department revealed that the driver of the 2021 Tesla, who was just 17 years old, was driving in the northbound direction on Ocean Parkway at a very high speed when he lost control of the car and crashed into another vehicle.
Following that, the young man climbed up onto the pavement at the northeast intersection of Avenue M and Ocean Parkway; regrettably, this is where he collided with Milorad. After colliding with Milorad, the driver of the Tesla continued driving without stopping and went on to collide with a traffic signal pole that was maintained by the Department of Transportation, a parked motorcycle, and a bench that was positioned in the middle of the road.
All of these accidents occurred within a short period of time after the initial collision. Following that, he assaulted another male victim, this time a 24-year-old guy who was also sent to the Maimonides Medical Center for treatment of minor leg injuries. During his time there, he was treated for his injuries.
