John Hinton Death, Obituary – It has been determined through the course of an inquiry that there was a double homicide that took place in Stokes County. According to statements made by the local authorities who are in charge of the investigation, the identities of the two men whose bodies were discovered on Friday in Stokes County have been made public. According to the information provided by the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office, it has been discovered that Jerrell Clayburn Coleman Jr., age 60, and Richard Oneal Joyce, age 66, both of whom lived on Merridon Drive, have gone away. Both of these individuals called Merridon Drive home. The bodies of both males were discovered on Merridon Drive.
According to the information that was provided by the sheriff’s office, deputies from the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office were sent to a residence on Merridon Drive on the evening of June 2 at 9:48 p.m. This location is approximately 14.5 miles west of Danbury. Coleman and Joyce were both found to be in a state of multiple injuries when the responding deputies arrived at the scene where the incident occurred.
When asked for a statement on the potential that Coleman and Joyce were connected to one another through blood or marriage, the sheriff’s office chose not to provide one.
According to the information provided by the sheriff’s office, detectives were able to establish a link between the deaths of the boys and Visnu N. Fernandez, 38, who lived on Merridon Drive. Merridon Drive was the address of Visnu N. Fernandez’s home.
According to the sheriff’s office, it has been reported that deputies were able to successfully take Fernandez into custody. He is being investigated on two distinct counts of murder as of right now.
