John Baney Obituary, John Baney Has Unexpectedly Passed Away

John Baney Death, Obituary – On August 10, 2021, John David Baney, 67, of 194 Summer Street Bradford, died at the Bradford Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 1, 1954, to the late Dean E. and Margaret (Coone) Baney. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1972. Dave married Anne Marie (Cleveland) on November 17, 1973, at Bradford’s First United Methodist Church. Dave graduated from the Weaver Airline School and worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many firms, including Modern Transportation.

He was a musician who played keyboards and guitar in bands such as Hollywood Knights and Double Edge. Dave also enjoyed woodworking, photography, fishing, shooting, and watching the Yankees.His grandsons and his dog “Charlie” were his passions. Dave is survived by his wife Anne, one daughter, Alecia (Paul Jr.) Reynolds of Bradford, two sons, Chad David (Rachel) Baney and Jason Andrew Baney.

both of Bradford, grandchildren Alexandria Baney, Victoria Zamberlan, Emily and Alexis Reynolds, two step grandchildren, Johna and Gavin Hart, one sister, Deborah (Tom) Morris of Bradford, and one brother, Peter (Sandra) Baney of Reading, as well as several nieces and nephews. His parents, one uncle, John Matto, and one brother, Daniel Baney, all died before him.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021, at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Avenue, Bradford, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. The St. Bernard Cemetery will serve as the site of burial. If so desired, memorial contributions may be donated to the McKean County SPCA at 80 Glenwood Avenue, Bradford, Pennsylvania, 16701.
