Norma Rocha Valles was the second person to leave this world, and it’s a terrible shame that she passed away. She was a singer, the proprietor of a restaurant, and a pillar in the community who was known for her ability to make friends wherever she went. Immediately after that, we will talk about her. When we heard the news about Jesse Tafalla Jr.’s passing, our hearts were instantly filled with sorrow.
As a friend of the Latino Cultural Centre and a volunteer there, he brought joy not just to the Centre but also to all of the groups that he managed and in which he participated. This made him an invaluable asset to the Latino Cultural Centre. Everyone who knew him will mourn his passing deeply. We are positive that as a consequence of his action, he has left behind a legacy that will make the LCC and this city a better place in the future as a result of the legacy that he has left behind. We would want to express our gratitude to you, Jesse, for all of the hard work that you have put in and for your friendship; you have stirred the hearts of a great many of us.
