James Topham Obituary, Death – Please keep Jamie in your thoughts and prayers, and come out today to express your solidarity with one of the most remarkable persons Nantucket has to offer. The Nantucket Community Center is the location of this event that will be taking place. He justifiably ought to have it. Everyone who knew and cared about him, including his family, friends, and the brothers and sisters he worked alongside in the Nantucket Fire Department, will grievously miss him. His passing will be deeply felt by all of these people.
Many people’s hearts are hurt as a result of this tragedy due to the fact that James Topham was taken from us at a much younger age than it should have been. I hope and pray that he will be at rest for the rest of eternity. We are obligated to carry this out because it is in the best interest of the Nantucket Island community to do so. A funeral procession will be led by the fire department today at four o’clock, in remembrance of Jamie Topham, who passed away suddenly early on Monday morning.
The procession will begin at the fire station. This site will play host to a memorial service in Jamie’s honor that will be held later today. Please take the time, if you are able to be there, to be somewhere along the route from Nantucket Cottage Hospital to Surfside, Fairgrounds Road through the Fire Department, left into Old South, Orange, Union, Francis, and to the Steamship, in order to convey your love and prayers and pay your respects to Jamie, an Island Son, and his family.
The route will begin at the Nantucket Cottage Hospital and end at the Steamship. The Nantucket Cottage Hospital serves as the starting point of this journey, and the Steamship is where it concludes. Jamie spent her childhood on the island of Nantucket, which is also the location of her birth. We are thankful to everyone who has gone out of their way to show love to another person and pray for them.
