James Flowers Obituary, Death – On Saturday, April 8, 2023, James T. Flowers of New Castle, Delaware, passed away in his home. In Wilmington, Delaware’s Richardson Park, James was both born and raised. He was a student at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Academy. He spent many years playing baseball in Canby Park with the Bus Zebley Little League and spending time with his neighborhood pals. He frequently spent his summers at the pool, tubing on the family boat on the Bohemia River, and going on yearly trips with the family to Bethany Beach, Delaware, and then Cape May, New Jersey. He eventually completed the Masonry Career Program and received his high school diploma from Hodgson Vo-Tech in 2005. James received the State of Delaware’s 1st Place VICA Award (Vancouver Island Construction Association) during his junior year and went to the.

Both the second place finish in his senior year’s National Masonry Competition in Kansas City, Michigan. James began working as a union mason with Enterprise Masonry before joining the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 1 after receiving his degree. In 2009, he bought his own house in New Castle, Delaware, where he lived with a wonderful neighborhood family. Family was James’ main priority and his life’s basis. On most Sundays, he would be having supper with his parents, sister, and nieces. In the summer, he would also be at the pool. James was thrilled to be Alyssa Winner’s godfather.
