Jake Deckard Obituary, Death – On June 2, 2023, a motorbike accident sadly claimed the life of Jake Michael Deckard, 23, of Reynoldsburg. He was born at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville on October 29, 1999. He graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in the year 2018 group. He adored going shooting with his father, skating, and playing hockey with his friends. His automobile, though, was his true love. At the age of 16, Jake started working at Kroger, where he made friends that meant the world to him.
His large heart and capacity for compassion will be remembered by his friends and family. Jake was devoted to his family and friends, including those from his workplace, school, and neighborhood. He will always be cherished and missed. In addition to his grandmother Janice Schrader, parents Jeffrey and Patti Deckard, sister Leah Allison Deckard, aunts and uncles Brenda Harrington, Julie (Terry) Schrader, and Steven (Cheri) Schrader, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a slew of friends who adored him, Jake also leaves behind his parents.
His friends’ support throughout this difficult time and the priceless memories they have shared are appreciated, his family would like to say. The Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where Jake’s funeral ceremony will be conducted on Friday at 10am, will host a visitation for friends and family on Thursday, June 8, from 5-8pm. At Glen Rest Memorial Estates, a graveside service will be held later. to be aware Knowing Jake meant loving him. Our hearts will always have a hole in them. We shall always remember you, buddy.
