Jacklyn Zeman Cause of Death, Obituary – Jacklyn Smith, Frank Valentini, the executive producer of General Hospital, revealed the news of Jackie Zeman’s demise in a tweet late on Wednesday night. He said, “On behalf of our General Hospital family, I am heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Jackie Zeman.” She was a ray of sunshine and a genuine professional who brought a great deal of positive energy to her place of employment, just like her on-screen persona, the iconic Bobbie Spencer.
Jackie will be deeply missed, but her upbeat energy will continue to inspire our cast and crew long after she has passed away. We extend our deepest condolences to her loved ones, friends, and family, and our thoughts are especially with her children, Cassidy and Lacey. In the wake of Jacklyn Zeman’s passing, the production of the ABC daytime drama also issued a statement. The statement read, “Jacklyn Zeman has been a beloved member of the General Hospital and ABC family since she originated the iconic role of Bobbie Spencer over 45 years ago.”
She leaves behind a lasting legacy for her portrayal of the bad girl to heroine, for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award, and she will always be remembered for having a good heart and a radiant spirit. Someone with such a truly kind soul who doesn’t have any diva tendencies and only has nice things to say about other people. She was the one who, along with Gloria Monty, helped launch my career in the 1980s when after the screen test along with several other optimistic young guys.
She did this in conjunction with Gloria Monty. Gloria inquired as to who Jackie believed would do the role of Noah Drake the best, and may God bless her in the event that Jackie did not name me.
