Henry E. Allison Obituary, Henry E. Allison Has Passed Away

Henry E. Allison Obituary, Death –  The passing of Henry E. Allison, a former member of the NAKS Board of Trustees, a distinguished researcher of Kant and early modern philosophy, and a mentor and source of inspiration to many members of our community, is something that the NAKS announces with a deep sense of regret and sadness.
The birth date of Professor Allison was April 25th, 1937, and her death date was June 5th, 2023. As per his instructions, there will be no memorial service or funeral held in his honor.

In the days to follow, NAKS will provide additional details regarding the virtual memorial event that is being planned in his honor and which will feature his students, colleagues, and friends. He will unquestionably be missed by many. The following year will provide us fresh possibilities to create new relationships and continue the good, supporting systems and structures that make Eissler the exceptional place that it is.

Mr. H has consistently been an extremely valuable contributor to Eissler and to all of the families. His compassion for our deaf and hard of hearing students has never failed to move my emotions. On his first day, he made a request for a sign language dictionary since he could not conceive the possibility that there would be students on campus with whom he would be unable to speak.

He is the kind of person that always goes beyond what is expected of them. All of these years, Eissler has been very fortunate to have him as an employee. I hope everything works out well for Mr. H., Emerson is fortunate to have him.
