Evangeline Picanso Obituary, Evangeline Picanso has passed away after 42 years of marriage

Evangeline Picanso Death, Obituary – Evangeline R. (Picanso) Quattrochi passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday, April 27, 2023, at her residence with her devoted daughter by her side. Her late husband, Alberto J. Quattrochi, passed away in 1996, leaving her a widow and unable to get assistance from a family member or friend. The couple had been married for 47 years.She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, and her late parents were Antonio Picanso and Maria (Bettencourt) Picanso. Both of her parents passed away before she was born. Since then, neither of her parents has survived to this day.

Her formative years and her academic training were spent in the Lowell area of Massachusetts.Evangeline held the position of Inspector at Raytheon for a major amount of her time there, prior to taking an early retirement from the company. She was a frequent at the St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, where the church services were held.She is survived by her daughter, Judith Ann Quattrochi of Dracut; her son, John Anthony Quattrochi and his wife, Susan McKeever Quattrochi of St. Augustine FL; her grandchildren, John Paul Quattrochi and his wife, Megan Lickley Quattrochi of Washington, DC, and Gina Quattrochi of Los Angeles, CA; her great grandchildren, Leona Lickley Quattrochi and Lorenzo Lickley Quattrochi both of Washington, DC.

There will be a visitation for her on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2 to 6 o’clock in the evening at the McDonough Funeral Home in Lowell, which is located at 14 Highland Street and can be reached at 978-458-6816. Anyone who would like to attend is more than welcome to do so. Her funeral will begin on Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, 374 Stevens Street, Lowell, followed by burial at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell.
