Dennise Ruth Death, Obituary – Dennise “Ruth” Duvall, who resided in South Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Hubbard Hospice House West. She had reached the age of 87 at the time of her passing. During the final moments of her life, loved ones from both of her families were there to care for her. Ruth was responsible for the upkeep of a home as well as the care of a large number of children during the course of her life. This responsibility included both domestic and parental responsibilities.
William “Bill,” who Ruth has been married to for 67 years, is the only person she will leave behind after she passes away. Her sister Mary Alice Hess, her in-laws Dennis and Caroline Blake Pauley, and her daughter-in-law Cindy Duvall all left before she did. Her parents, Dennis and Caroline Blake Pauley, were the ones that left first. She was the only member of her immediate family that had made it this far. Only her spouse will ever remember her, and he loves her very much.
Her legacy will live on through her three children, Michael (Debbie) Duvall, Patty (Mike) Ratcliff, and Billy “BJ” Duvall (Ruth); her seven grandchildren, Kelley (Elizabeth) McDerment, Lindsey Duvall, Kevin (Kayla) Duvall, Blake (Dee Dee) Ratcliff, and Matthew Duvall (Amber); and her six great grandchildren, who brought her so much joy. Her legacy will,The memorial service will be held at the mausoleum that can be found within Graceland Memorial Park at one o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, May 1st, 2023.
Pastor Gene Pauley will serve as the one in charge of presiding over the ceremony. At the Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek, there will be a gathering for family and friends from 10:30 in the morning to 12:30 in the afternoon. The event will take place.
