Dave Scherping Motorcycle Accident, Obituary – A former deputy of the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office passed away this weekend in a motorcycle accident in Sherburne County, and the department is mourning his passing. The current K-9 handler for the organization, Deputy Austin Scherping, is the son of former Morrison County deputy Dave Scherping, who also handled dogs, according to the sheriff’s office. He would update friends and family with photos and updates about new locations and adventures. It was difficult for him to settle down in one spot because he enjoyed exploring new places. Brent constantly kept in contact with the old while making new acquaintances wherever he traveled.
