Dave Mullenbach Obituary, Death – I am so saddened to inform you that our buddy Dave Mullenbach died and went to heaven this morning. The ALHC Trustees and friends extend their heartfelt condolences to the family. Thank you, Bruce, for keeping us informed. I’ll never forget Dave riding his bike around the MercyOne clinic construction site. He had spent so much time there. I tried to find a picture to share but couldn’t find it. If I can find it, I’ll include it. I also recall him encouraging me to go up on the roof during the groundbreaking ceremony to photograph all of the automobiles from above.
He knew I was desperate since I had worked at Herbergers for many years and had never been on the roof. I’m sure you’ve all heard of Dave. However, cause of death was not disclosed.Words fall short of expressing our grief for your loss, as we mourn with family and friends for this great loss. Dave graduated from Follansbee High School Class of 1960 and went on to proudly serve his country in the US Army. Dave worked for Weirton Steel Corporation for 32 years as a millwright in the BOP department. He was Christian by faith. Dave loved gardening and taking care of his property for his family. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and his furry companion Webster. All services and inurnment will be held at the convenience of Dave’s family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037.
