Dandre James Obituary, Death – On Sunday, there was a collision in Whiteside County that resulted in the death of one person. Whiteside County deputies say that the Whiteside County Sheriff’s office was notified of a crash involving a single car on United States Route 30 close to Hillside Road at approximately 2:37 in the am on Sunday.
According to the early findings of the investigation conducted by the deputies, a UHaul was traveling westbound on U.S. Route 30 close to Hillside Road when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree. Deputies were able to positively identify the driver as Dandre James, who is 44 years old. On the spot, a medical examiner determined that he had passed away.
On the scene, the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office was aided by the Morrison Police Department, the Fulton Police Department, the Morrison Fire Department, the Morrison Community Hospital EMS, the Whiteside County Coroners Office, and Tegler’s Towing. Also present was the Whiteside County Coroners Office.
