Clare Starr Obituary, Death – To the memory of my beloved friend who passed away far too soon. My friendship with Clare Starr goes back many years, but it was during our time at Covid that we grew closer to one another. He would frequently pass by my apartment, and whenever he did, we would engage in in-depth discourse on a wide variety of subjects. Everyone considered him a buddy. He loved deep much like myself.

Always encouraging me in my musical endeavors, he would tell me how proud he was of me and how much he believed in me, just as I’m sure he did for everyone else. I always ensured that I did the same thing in return.
I have a show scheduled at Prairie Street Live in September 2021, and he was quite interested in coming to play bass with me there. I responded to him by saying, “Hell yes, come on, brother.”

I requested him, Heather Marie, and Kevin Watkins to perform a song for us, and they all showed up at the party together. Therefore, I’ve attached a movie along with some images from that evening. I can’t believe I let that stop me! I’m going to miss him coming over to my apartment every so often to say hello. RIP buddy. I am grateful for the ongoing friendship you have shown me.
