Chris Harkey Obituary, Death – Chris was a much-beloved husband, father, and son, and he was cherished by a large number of people. Chris was stolen from all of us far too soon due to a tragic circumstance. Chris came from a family that had lived in Flagstaff for five generations and had a deep affection for the natural world and his family. Chris was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps and served his country well, deploying twice to Iraq during his time there.
After that, Chris went back to his house and started pursuing his interest in the great outdoors by getting a job at Bull Basin Archery, where he was able to make a positive impact on the lives of a great number of people. Chris was the first one there to provide assistance, regardless of the time of day or the nature of the need. Recently, he took the first step toward pursuing a career in the fire service, which would allow him to continue to assist and serve the people in his neighborhood.
He is survived by an incredible wife, as well as a boy, who is 5 years old, and a daughter, who is 2 years old. They will require all of our support as they go through this difficult time. Let’s show up in force to lend our support to his family, just as Chris has done for a great number of us. Erin, You and the children are in our thoughts and prayers.
Christopher was a wonderful man who was willing to lend a hand to anyone. So much love to you. John & Karen Our deepest sympathies go out to Erin and her family. We will continue to keep each and every one of you in our thoughts and prayers. Alan, Rhonda, Derek & Andie Alan, Rhonda, Derek & Andie
