Charles Eberhard Death, Obituary – This week, the Bobcat softball family lost one of its most ardent supporters. Charles Eberhard, Aylish and Eryn O’Harra’s grandfather, died unexpectedly. For the past decade, Charles and his wife Martha have been regulars at their granddaughter’s softball games. During this terrible moment, our thoughts are with the O’Harra family.
Eberhard, Charles D. “Chuck,” 53, Captain, Wichita Fire Dept. Station 19D, and 31-year fireman, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2005. Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Remington High School Gymnasium after a visitation with relatives from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
On Thursday at Lamb Funeral Home. Chuck, a lifelong resident of Whitewater, graduated from Remington High School in 1970 with the class he had entered, and he also earned an associate’s degree from Wichita State University. The following people are still alive.
Wife Trella, son Adam Borst, mother Louise, sister Nancy Phipps, twin brother Rick of Kechi, stepbrothers Montie Smith and Terry Smith of San Diego, California, stepsisters Vickie Hershberger and Jan Devaney of Wichita, and several nieces and nephews.
