Cameron Miller Obituary, Death – On March 14, 2023, Cameron Peter Miller, 34, of Minot, North Dakota, previously of Drake, North Dakota, went dead suddenly at home from an unidentified cardiac issue. On Tuesday, March 21, at 10:30 a.m., a liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated at Drake’s St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church. In the spring, a funeral service led by Father Tom Graner will be followed by a burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Orrin, North Dakota. At St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church in Drake, visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, March 20, followed by a rosary and vigil service at 7 p.m. Nelson Funeral Home in Drake made the arrangements. Myron and Mary Kay (Lemer) Miller welcomed Cameron into the world on October 29, 1988 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Rugby, North Dakota.
He was raised on 2007 saw his graduation from Drake Public School and he moved to the family ranch outside of Orrin, North Dakota. Cameron enjoyed playing football at school and was given the opportunity to take part in the East/West Shrine Game. Cameron earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota. He began working at Houston Engineering in Minot, North Dakota, after finishing college. In 2019, Cameron obtained his professional engineer and land surveyor licenses. Cameron assisted his parents in running the ranch. He enjoyed to hunt and fish in his spare time and was an active sportsman. He scouted deer, checked his deer cameras, and looked for shed antlers for hours.
Cameron loved watching sports, playing fantasy football, and was a huge Chicago Bears, Minnesota Twins, Indiana Pacers, popular culture, and the Star Wars movie series. He belonged to the Minot Sunrise Rotary Club, the Drake Golf Club, and the Drake Knights of Columbus. The gentle, good-natured, and kind Cameron was always there for his friends and family. We will sincerely miss him. His paternal grandmother, Josephine (Lemer) Miller, Drake, his parents, Myron and Mary Kay (Lemer) Miller, Orrin, his brother, Matthew Miller, and brother-in-law, Christopher Nguyen, Portland, Oregon, as well as his aunts and uncles, Marion Uhlich, Drake, LeRoy and Elaine Miller, Drake, Marlene Schaefer, Bismarck, Larry Miller, Minot, Connie and Julius Gange, Jamestown,
