Brenda Johnson Obituary, Death – Sue passed away unexpectedly in Garner, North Carolina, on March 29, 2014, after suffering from an unanticipated illness. Ritzman was born to Calvin and Geratdine (Batcheior) Ritzman on the 24th of August, 1949 in Waterloo, Iowa. He was the only child of the couple. Sue lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, for the bulk of her life; however, she finally moved to North Carolina so that she could be closer to her son, daughter, and grandkids. Sue wanted to be able to spend more time with her family.
She is survived by her children and grandkids, including Brittney, Kalyn, Brandon, Brooke, and Bryce; her son Pete Johnson and his wife Mary, who reside in Wendell, North Carolina; her daughter Gretchen Johnson Williams and her husband Ronald, who reside in Clayton, North Carolina; and her daughter Gretchen Johnson Williams. In addition, Sue is survived by her siblings who all reside in the state of Utah. They are as follows: Lynda (Don) Huisizer, Gary (Marilyn) Ritzman, Martha (Clark) Warmoth, Bob (Sharon) Ritzman, Tammy Pressley, Bryan (Robin) Bennett, Katrina (Michael) Messier, and Roger (Andrea) Bennett. All of these individuals are married to one another.
A Memorial Service was performed on April 2, 2014 at the McRaurin Funeral Home Chapel in Clayton, North Carolina. The service was held in honor of the deceased. On each of our birthdays, Sue used to call us, wish us a happy birthday, and sing us a birthday song over the phone. We will miss having that birthday phone call from her. The celebration of life for Sue’s family will take place in Salt Lake City before the end of this summer. Sue passed away earlier this year. You will forever hold a very special place in each of our hearts. Always keep your love for your family in your heart.
