Bill Shields Obituary, Death – On Thursday, the late, great Bill Shields, who had been a reporter for WBZ-TV for many years, was recognized by being inducted into the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame as a member of the 2023 class. Shields was one of the six persons who were honored for their accomplishments during the ceremony that was held at the Boston-Quincy Marriott Hotel.
