Arthur Walker Obituary, Death – The 14th of January 1945 to the 5th of February 2023 The death of Arthur Walker, who was 78 years old, took place at Marianhill Lodge in Pembroke on Sunday, February 5, 2023. The family regrets having to make this announcement. A devoted brother to Richard (Agnes) of Renfrew and the husband of Margaret (Baird) of Kinburn, who was his sister. Dedicated paternal figure to Amber, Ian (Christine), and Jonathan (Katie), as well as grandfather to three grandchildren.
His parents, Robert and Ethel Walker, as well as his brother, George, passed away before him. Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., located at 138 Daniel Street North in Arnprior, has been entrusted with the responsibility of making preparations for Arthur. At a later date in the spring, a burial is going to take place at the Lowry Cemetery in Carp. In honor of Arthur, the family desires that memorial contributions be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Even if the candle burns out, the recollection of the light it casts will remain. In these trying times, I pray that God would grant the family peace and comfort.
Also, Arthur’s mother Aline Watkins and the Walker family have received condolences from Arthur’s sisters Patricia Lindsey-Cantrell, Brenda Lindsey, Jane Lindsey-Blair, and Shirley Lindsey. They extend their deepest sympathies.
I am sorry, but Maalk and I will not be able to make it. On our mother’s side, Arthur is the oldest sibling, and I’m the second oldest sister. When Arthur was a young man serving in the military, he relocated to Georgia. After living here for a while, he eventually went back to his hometown.
When he was gone, I missed him terribly, but I never missed a chance to catch up with him when I returned home. He is the last surviving member of his family group and has four living siblings, 17 nephews and nieces, 25 great nephews and nieces, and six great-great nephews and nieces. I have the deepest love and respect for that adorable little man, and I know that his Georgia will miss him very greatly.
