During a shooting that took place on Sunday in the Crosby neighborhood, one person was shot and killed, while numerous others were injured. Just before 5 o’clock in the afternoon, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez tweeted about it. According to him, there were between four and five victims shot along Crosby-Lynchburg Road. Two of the victims were brought to a hospital in the area, and the other two were transferred to a site on Barrett Road.
On Reuben White Drive, the body of one victim was discovered close to where the shooting took place. It is unknown what led up to the shooting, nor is it known if anyone was taken into custody after the incident. A portion of a shopping center’s parking lot could be seen in the video coming from the location marked off with crime scene tape. According to various other sources, on Sunday afternoon, at least one person was found shot to death and multiple people were reported shot in the Crosby area. At approximately 4 o’clock in the afternoon, deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire in the 12000 block of Crosby-Lynching.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, somewhere between four and five persons were shot. The first two patients were transferred to a hospital on Barrett Road, while the other two were taken to another hospital. The scene of the initial shooting as well as the place in the 100 block of Reuben White where the body of one of the victims was discovered have both been dispatched to the authorities by the investigating team.
